Who am I?

Hi! I’m Whitney, your lifestyle photographer, friend, and forever hype girl.

I believe that when you choose a photographer, you should not only love their work but also love who they are as a person. I hope this little section about me will help you get to know me and get a feel for who I am as a person and a photographer!

First of all, I am so happy you’re here! It is the greatest gift being able to capture your stories whether it’s your wedding, elopement, milestone, or your growing family. As a photographer, I love genuine and candid moments. This is why I gravitated towards lifestyle as my specialty! Poses are great every once in a while, and sometimes some posing is necessary. But my creative soul thrives in all of those unposed moments you can only get from natural emotions!

 >> families playing tag in a field

>> couples whispering what they love about one another

>> snuggles in a blanket

I am here to capture every special moment and document your lifestyle.

A few facts about me!

I was born and raised in Monroe, WA and still live here!

I’m a coffee addict. My coffee of choice is a hot hemp milk latte with maple and white coffee. 4 shots minimum.

I love exploring nature + traveling

In the summer months, if I’m not shooting or editing you’ll find me in my kayak!

I’m a Subie driver, in love with my blue 2021 Crosstrek!

Birkenstock lover

I have been a photographer for 8 years, and I dove in full time straight out of high school!

I married the love of my life on August 8th, 2018 at Pine Creek Nursery! We have been together since February of 2014.

We are a husband and wife photography and videography team! It’s a dream working together.

We travel anywhere in the world for weddings + sessions! Our most requested destination is Arizona and we LOVE it there.

We have 6 cats.

I have a horse named King who I have had since 2007. I also showed Dressage for 3 years.

I have loved photography since I was a kid! My parents always encouraged me to take pictures of everything.

I lost my dad in a tragic car accident in October of 2009 when I was only 11 years old. Losing him has driven my passion for weddings and family photos. I feel him with me every time I capture a special moment between a parent and their child. I have his ‘89 Toyota that I bought from the man he sold it to almost 20 years ago. I thank God every day he kept it all of those years and he was an ANGEL to sell it to me.

I feel so blessed to be a photographer

I get to photograph the most genuine love, the sweetest families, and the most incredible stories. I get to capture the raw emotions in people’s lives and freeze those moments for them. There is no greater feeling for me than being the fly on the wall for your greatest adventure.

If you are looking for a photographer to tell your story in a unique way that showcases you and what you are all about, let me buy you a coffee at one of the amazing local coffee shops around here and let’s get to know each other!

talk soon, xoxo
